Summer Kick-off Tournament
When: Saturday, May 25, 2013
- Coed 2′s – 8:30am Check-in and 9:00am Captains’ Meeting
- Coed 4′s (max 2 guys)- 1:30pm Check-in and 2:00pm Captains’ Meeting
Where: Alki Beach
Cost: $60/coed 2′s and $100/coed 4′s
Format: Coed 2′s and Coed 4′s tournament. Coed 4′s maximum 2 guys. Pool play followed by elimination bracket.

Summer Solstice Tournament
When: Saturday, June 22, 2013
- Coed 2′s – 8:30am Check-in and 9:00am Captains’ Meeting
- Coed 4′s (max 2 guys)- 1:30pm Check-in and 2:00pm Captains’ Meeting
Where: Alki Beach
Cost: $60/coed 2′s and $100/coed 4′s (Prices go up to $70/coed 2′s and $110/coed 4′s on June 16th!)
Format: Coed 2′s and Coed 4′s tournament. Coed 4′s maximum 2 guys. Pool play followed by elimination bracket.
Mid-Summer Classic Tournament
When: Saturday, July 27, 2013
- Coed 2′s – 8:30am Check-in and 9:00am Captains’ Meeting
- Coed 4′s (max 2 guys) – 1:30pm Check-in and 2:00pm Captains’ Meeting
Where: Alki Beach
Cost: $60/coed 2′s and $100/coed 4′s (Prices go up to $70/coed 2′s and $110/coed 4′s on July 14th!)
Format: Coed 2′s and Coed 4′s tournament. Coed 4′s maximum 2 guys. Pool play followed by elimination bracket.
Previous Tournaments:
Women’s Doubles Tournament
When: Friday, May 17, 2013 at 6:30pm
Where: The Sandbox
Cost: $60/team
- Space is limited (10 teams total)
- Registration note: Only one person from each team needs to register!
Format: Women’s Doubles 2-hours pool play to determine seating, then modified double elimination.
King/Queen Turkey of the Beach Tourney
When: Friday, November 23, 2012 (the day after Thanksgiving)
- 10:30am check in (Keep playing until 4pm if you keep winning!)
Where: The Sandbox, 5955 Airport Way S, Seattle, WA 98108
Cost: $50/coed pair (before 11/1, $60 after)
Format: Sign up as a Coed pair (one guy and one girl) and play together with different Coed pairs during the tournament. 24 pairs maximum (12 teams of 4). Pool play first to determine upper and lower levels.
The Chillie Willie – King & Queen of the Beach/Iceberg Tournament Coed 4′s & leftover potluck
When: Wednesday, December 26, 2012 – 10:30am check in
Where: The Sandbox, 5955 Airport Way S, Seattle, WA 98108
Cost: $50/coed pair (before 12/14, $60 after)
Format: Sign up as a Coed pair (one guy and one girl) and play together with different Coed pairs during the tournament. 24 pairs maximum (12 teams of 4). Pool play first to determine upper and lower levels.
- Invite your friends and family.
- Bring your Christmas leftovers!
- Hang out by our Tiki Bar and have a nice, cold beer.
- Play some ping pong and foosball,while watching football on the flat screen.
- Dance up a storm in our Tiki Room with our Xbox Kinect.
Tips for Registration:
You’ll be redirected to our online registration system with Sports IT. We are using a new system, so your contact information may or may no have been added.
- Enter your email in the “New Customer Registration” and click sign up and continue setting up your new user profile.
- If you get an “Account Already Exists!” message, click “password lookup form”, enter your email address, followed by the character captcha shown in the box on the screen, and click email password.
- A password will emailed to you, so use that password to login (at the bottom of the email message press “Click here to login”) and proceed with registration.
- You’ll be redirected back to Sports IT (aka MySAM), where you can click on “Register,” select Tournaments, and your name.
- Click yes or no to answer.
- Click “Select” next to Volleyball Tournaments then select the tournament you’d like.
- Choose an existing team or register a new team, then hit Next and Pay Deposit.
- Proceed to check out, enter your credit card information and click “Process Payment” and you should get a confirmation email.
- You’ll be directed to your team’s page where you can invite your team mate (you can also invite from the home page).
- That’s it! You’re all registered!
